today I started hunting an old farm house and I will post all my finds once I finish the property, I wanted to show off today's coolest find. It is a presidential token, not sure the age.

It says 11th President USA 1845-1848 James K Polk

I also found another civil war excelsior button, 8 wheats from 1915-1953. I just hunted the front yard, and had to leave. Hoping to find some silver here somewhere. here is the token

These kind of tokens were produced in the 50's - 70's by a number of sources, including crackerjack and gas stations

Those tokens are always fun to find. I found the U.S. Grant, Andrew Johnson, and Taft ones last year. Nice find

I had the complete set back in the early 70's. Got mine from the Shell Station as I recall.

With each tank full (about $4) you got a bronze token.

Mine are mostly buried outside a house I was living in the late 70's.

My wife accidentally put them into the trash burner and I found a couple when we moved it in later years.

I just left them all there where they sunk into the ground.

Yea I had a collection of those when I was a younger fella, they where giveaways,. Don't know whatever happened to them. Nice find brings back memories.
