Those silver coins are beautiful! Also, I often find items like the bars on the bottom of the pic ; are they parts of an old ship? 
The ones I have found are flat on the bottom and slightly "arcd" on top.

Lorraine they are boat trim from old boats they should have counter sunk holes about every 3" or so.Those silver coins are beautiful! Also, I often find items like the bars on the bottom of the pic ; are they parts of an old ship?
