Seriously though, it's a cool photo when you know (and remember) the context, but if you showed it to anybody born after 2001, it's nothing special...


If it was full frontal of the Lady Liberty with the sun on her face, it would tell a more compelling story.

If it was a film negative it would also be probably a bit more significant, being more one of a kind. Looks like a post 9/11 photo, taken the day after, representing America still being intact after the event. The symbol of the Statue of Liberty standing amidst the smoke. Most likely published in a magazine or newspaper.
