Interesting little vessel. Is it sealed?

Yup, which is a miracle in itself as most glass stuff is busted up on this stretch of bank.

I would get rid of it. Could be something toxic like uranium, who knows...

Old medicine? I seem to recall seeing serums and stuff like that stored in ampules like yours.

This x 2..... but then that begs the question.... how and where to "get rid of it".... take it back to where I found it and pretend I never saw it maybe:dontknow:

Try searching under "ampoule"

Yours appears more rugged than a medical version. I would venture a guess that it is one of a set of "rare earth" elements from a high school chemistry room. Some that are reactive to air they keep in a liquid like that.

Could be toxic or volitile.

I've seen serious drugs in ampules similar to that.

Time to walk away from that ampule = Actually, run....

No telling what it is.....

Pure phosphorus is kept in vials of water because it ignites otherwise.

Thanks for the input, I might open it and feed it to my avatar, which lives in a jade plant on the front porch! :laughing9:

Just kidding, everybody calm down!
