cool little buckle

i found this sweet little buckle in the soccer field by an old school that has been torn down to make way for high school football stadium relocation...(any info on this thing is greatly appreciated).....was bent nearly in half when i found it and i gambled on straightning it (very slowly btw) and i won lol

other coins are for size reference

originally built in 1899......there was a house (not sure when it was built but moved across the street in the 40s) where the soccer field is now and an old store (i heard) on the corner where the parking lot is

Cool buckle... Looks like a strap adjustment buckel or something.

Pull on one side and the teeth grab and hold in place... Looks like a late 19th century piece... maybe early 20th.
