I would of posted this yesterday but it was April 1st. . . I'm sure you understand :tongue3:

I was out at the spot where a lot of us have had great success with Barbers lately and April Fools day
proved to be no exception.

I started hunting in the woods near a paved bike path that looked fairly promising on the 1938 aerials
and one of my first targets was an old Cracker Jack sheep (my first one of that type ) so I
was hopeful that there might be a few old coins in that area as well. My next two targets were a
1903-P Barber Quarter (perfect VDI 86) and a 1939 Wheat.

The rest of my hunt was uneventful except for the usual lead and shotgun shell heads.

Thanks for looking,

Great job! You had me anxious to see what you had found after yesterdays post. I think those Cracker Jack toys are cool. Keep em coming!

Great job, Mark!!! Congrats on your second Barber Q out of that area!  :icon_king:

It's about time you picked up another Cracker Jack toy - you were long overdue.... ;D

How deep was that Barber?

Man, I can't wait to get out this weekend!

Great hunt bud - congrats!!! I can't wait for Sat so I can get out there!!!! I found a few wheats right off that paved trail but then I punched into the woods. I be if you spen a whole weekend just hunting either sideo of that trail you will find a lot of coins. :icon_pirat:

Thanks for the comments everyone!

However, I did come pretty close to being a fool :tard: when I set down my new
Pro Pointer in a pile of leaves next to a hole that I just finished digging. . . I didn't
realize I was missing it until my next target about 75 feet away. The only
way I found it was by sound. . . it was near a small piece of foil under some leaves
buzzing away. . . there was no way I could have eyeballed it :P

Looking forward to Saturday

Perhaps one of the only cases of trash being beneficial in nature! What luck, eh?

Hey man, that's a great Barber. I am itchin' to get back there. I'm on a little streak with old coins (though last time, I only pulled wheats) and could go for some silver soon.

Meet ya there!

Joe

Great finds Watercolor, I was waiting to see what you had found. Barber quarters are tough to come by, congrats!! HH
