Got a combo detecting/fishing trip in today, with the fishing trip being a bit of a recon mission for detecting as well! Hit the same field as yesterday with the finds being even more slim. I was hoping with the musket balls in the area and a field with rev war buttons and spanish silver just a few hundred meters away I'd strike it lucky, not to be. The eagle button is pretty cool, it's a two piece and aside from my military buttons my favorite button find yet!
And, I managed to *almost* land a few nice trout as well!

Brook trout on the fly. Lots of fun but they only rise for the fly when I look away lol!
