Yes you are right. Danish and norwegian coins were legal tender here from 1875 to 1920s. But it still amazes me how much danish ans norwegian coins we find in just this spot.. other locations we find maybe 99 % swedish but here it is around 65-70 %where i live, along the border with Canada it was common, in fact expected to have Canadian coins in your change from any transaction...up until at least the 1980's or early 90's. It could very well be that given the proximity and the common denomination, Swedish and Danish and Norwegian were traded without comment in the same way. Especially older coins with similar silver content.
