I am used to digging the same stuff over and over. At the end of the war the Nazi currency was no good any more so lots of coins got thrown on the ground. Friday after work I dug a very small silver coin with a castle on one side and the other side says "1 SECHSLING 1855". I have not found one of these and am not sure of its origin. I also found a child's ID bracelet that says" Petra" on one side and the date 31/3/59 on the back . I am pretty sure it is silver. Petra is a fairly common German name. Today, Batch and myself went to the battle field and dug relics. We had a good day. I found 4 buttons ,a belt tip ,a scabbard tip, some crusty coins,ww2 shell casings and musket balls.Batch did pretty good also.I had a nice surprise when I dug a nice pistol ball. I don't find many of them. Two of the buttons have flowers on the ends of them and where found in the same hole. It was a wonderful day but after I got home and sat down I found a tick crawling across my arm. Luckily I got him before he got me. Hope all is well and HH.
