From the land of the Bluenose.....cool bottles. Make a nice collection. Odd time detecting run into an old bottle......really like blue glass. Thanks for psoting.

Nothing better than a RC cola and a Moon Pie.

The house I found them at appears to have been abandoned in the 80's as that's what most of the trash seems to be.

It's collapsing in on itself and filled with clothes, broken tv, etc. it had electricity but I've found no signs of running water, just an outhouse and a creek.

The ground is covered in broken bottles, cans, misc farm trash. My plan is to go back this weekend and clean one section out down through the foot and a half or so if junk and leaves till I hit dirt, then start metal detecting. Just too much trash for that as it is.

I managed to crawl up under the house a few feet and sift through the stuff under the floorboards but I keep thinking about the haunta virus....

Next up is the outhouse. Not sure how to start in that one. Dig right down or use a backhoe to cut a trench next to it.

Hello normalizer,

That's not a 1938. It looks like a 16 oz. from over here, and they first came out with that size in 1965. The 1938 logo looked like this:

That's an excellent video ZodiacDigger.

Cool bottles I'd check that place out good.could be some old silvers there.

Thanks, I figured I was wrong but still cool to find...

The house is built out of wood repurposed from furniture shipping crates and the interior walls are simply cardboard boxes, also from furniture and large electronics, covered with wallpaper. I plan on trying to photograph everything and research logo's, company names, etc and maybe pin down a date it was built. Might have just been an elaborate playhouse for children for all I know.

Cool bottles, I went out yesterday to an old dump site behind my house that has a bunch of car parts, beer cans and bottles. I found a old sunspot bottle, coke a Cola bottle and an old head lamp bezel to a 1950's Chevy.

snap a shack pic too!

Pic is a couple posts above, I'll try and take better this weekend.

Found a sharps carbine case across the street from it Sunday too, so will probably focus mostly on that side this time. Less ticks too, I pulled five off me.

Very nice, congratulations:hello2:
