Everyone need to contact Cook county and let them know how you feel about this Law. Go to their web page and contact them. I was wondering why Treasure Fiend had now posted any vids on youtube lately. This is the reason.

If I recall correctly, it's a prohibition for "Forest Preserves" and last I heard, I think, they were working on a permit system. I'm not sure I completely agree or disagree with the rationale. But, if it's just a limitation on a dedicated "Forest Preserve", I don't think I have a problem. As long as there is a mechanism for doing a serious historical search. IMHO, of course.
