I know it's not worth anything, but, it was such an odd piece, I figured I'd at least try to figure out what it is. Chromed pot metal handle? attached to a brass plate that also has a plastic U shaped piece attached to it. Maybe an odd faucet part? The chromed piece also has a screw near the tip. Let the guessing begin! :laughing7:

Well the plastic thing is a plastic pipe clip, and the chromed thing looks an awful lot like a chromed pipe fitting of a similar diameter as the pipe clip.

Could it be a stand off for a neon tube ? This one is black but it would not be a stretch to have it in chrome. HH

What happens when the neon bulb gets hot in that plastic clip he's got?

The plastic section has a 1/4" flat groove in it, and it sits at an odd angle on the brass plate. The chromed section was once a bit bigger. It went all the way around the center hole, but is eaten away at this point.
