Re: Container/ "tin" of some sort

Looks like a small compact for face powder or rouge, although it's a bit large for rouge.

hmmm looks a little masculine for a compact---
maybe a snuff tin?

For some reason I remember someone posting an old condom holder that looked similar......is that possibly what it is??

Looks like it might be "Honey," all right— and there's not much doubt about "Hollywood."

I think the word on the banner is "Westmore."

Here's a Westmore Hollywood Cosmetics rouge tin showing the same crest on the lid and "bullseye" embossing on the bottom.

"House of Westmore" is what it reads. Dang it, I've been beat again.

Well, that's a stretch! :) Yesterday I tried googling "House of ______" I tried Wakemore, Windmore, and about a dozen others. I'm glad you came up with Westmore.

Well I sure didn't want to be the first to admit that it seemed too large for what Vector suggested! :D
