CONSTRUCTION SITE VS. WOODCHIPS

Well i finally got out after a month...all that rain we had and then wouldn't you know it i had to do the roof over..but as soon as put that last nail in i grabed my detector and hit the road...did not even take the tools of the roof..
Any way i hit both these areas for an hour each...first i hit the wood chips found a ring that has the letters CTR on it ? a pin and some clad
well after that i hit a consruction site and found these two dime 1892 barber...no S?
And this 1917 D mercury..i will hit this site in the morning

Love the wood chips. The city just across the ridge from where I live is giving me grief about hunting the park there. They say that I could disturb the woodchips and fill under the swings. (Not joking even though it sounds like it) Dozens of kids there dragging there feet under the swings and I might disturb things? Give me a break!

Glad to see some places are reasonable and don't go nuts about little things.
That's a real nice coin you found. Keep it up and go find one for us poor folks who can only drool about the cool finds others get.
