Walked 6 miles, found the follis on the surface. Great day! SB 1107 I think

NICE FIND Great pictures :)

So I had also found this coin but it was so crusty I could not tell what it was. Thinking it was from 1800s, Napoleon I 1 soldo, based on weight and diameter, 10gr/27mm

Turns out it's Roman!

Haven't fully identified it yet, missed it by that much! 1800s give or take 1600 years

Two mints used the letters "SCL"; Seleucia (in Isauri, southern Anatolia) and (for your coin) Syracuse, Sicily from the reign of Justinian I-- in the 540s-- untill its capture by the Arabs in 878.

More specifically, I like your ID ( Sear 1107) during the reign of Constans II (641-668 AD)
Don in SoCal
