Well I got out at low tide and man did the high do a number to the beach.

A bunch of new sand between the cut and the low. So I tried:

waste high
in the low spot
both sides of the low spot

and didnt get a hit!!!!

Advice? I thought for sure with some of the pockets being 2 ft low and tons of erosion in 10 blocks i should hit something! :BangHead:

Say hello to summer. We've actually got a few areas of common trough over here that are almost completely filled in, people walking out to the first sand bar without getting their waist wet in a few areas. First time I've witnessed this over here. But the good news is.....wait a minute.....there really isn't any good news. :laughing7:

I walked forever yesterday and not one signal. Sad

Yep. On top of the sand issue we also had a poor spring season, no people on the beach and the water/whether remained cool. Sort of a dead spring season with a lot of sand continuing to cover nothing. :laughing7: I was in the water about 8 hrs this weekend and only came away with a handful of fishing weights, a couple of coins, one junk hoop earring, some pull tabs, and a few pieces of can slaw. "Really soft" bottoms out there.

Time for a Road trip....

BS: I am glad when I find a handful of fishing weights.
If they are old drops It is a good sign that the bottom is firm enough to support ring(s).
If new drops, it's still a win as you can go fishing later.

At least they have melt value, verses the dismal purchasing power of clad coins!
