Found this in my front yard which was a tavern built in 1739... Hope there's some help out there. Thanks

Yours finds do look to be somewhat modern. But, you know, you shouldn't give up on your site. You have to dig down thru the modern layers to get to the old and good stuff. If your place was an old tavern then you should, for sure, find some nice old coins. Keep hitting it and good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I did find a large cent dated 1820 the other day too.. along with a 1916 penny.

I think the little bullet is from a pepperbox gun. It old like one from mid 1800's I think?.?.

Pic #3 looks like the bowl of a spoon to me. I know it's small, but if you think about it they used many types of spoons back then.

Could be a baby spoon. Don't know if the patina on the bullet is white enough to be that old

#1 It looks like the end of a candle snuffer thats been crushed. The twist may have been the wire extending out from the handle. Similar to this.snuffer.webp
