Confederate Bullet and Mystery Items

I am very excited about my first "real" find after about exactly a year with my Ace 350. This afternoon I found what I assume to be a Confederate bullet (unspent?) and some metal pieces that I am far too new in the game to identify. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
