For the Love of Pete..whoever the heck Pete is. Trying to get this laptop running properly and trying to post pics is like digging a 50 gallon drum of rusty nails. whooowheeee...
Okay here goes. Started the hunt with Don again and searched a 100 year old home. Had 3 acres to cover in a couple day. Pretty smooth sailing with a nice yard and not too much trash. Got a few wheaties dating back to 1917. Got a good quarter signal with my Whites 6000 Pro. That is usually a great sign. And it sure was, my first 1943 Silver Quarter. Then not too much later the 1936 Mercury came calling. A few more wheats later we snagged a couple rings. A silver one and a ring with some small Eagles printed on the sides. Then I got the cowboy relic...The Ole Pistola with Rodeo printed on both sides. I was hoping to find the Cowboys lost loot but no luck. Some other stuff included a hose nozzle, a pressed coin with the 1933 Chicago Centennial Celebration, and the ladies compact. the totals for two days were:
11 wheats
4 nickles
9 dimes
1 Canadian Penny 1968
3 quarters
47 clad pennies
1 silver 1943 Quarter
1 silver 1936 Merc. Can't wait to hit er' again...Good hunting days ahead friends! jgas

awesome finds! Sure glad you got past the computer glitches and got them posted so we could see them! Congrats on a great hunt!

Great digs! 3 acres is a good bit of ground to cover (I think about 3 football fields). Hope you can get back and find more. 8)

great digs, congrats on the silver coins. I do the same sleeving with any coins over 50 yrs old, I write metal detecting find, the date and the place I found them.
