Relax boys and girls...... mumszie was no competition out there this morning. I went to one small beach and found a grand total of 90 cents in clad and some junk. The fish hooks should have been in the second picture because they were found at the second beach.

The second beach was even worse for me this morning. Add the hooks to this and I have a grand total of 91 cents in clad for today. Whoopee! No matter I'll take it! Watch out for me next time!

You found more clad than I at least. I was able to get out on Father's Day at a busy local freshwater beach which wasn't busy at all. I only found a clad dime and a gold owl charm. Not a piece of junk either. Those were the only two beeps I heard too, but I enjoyed the sun and waves. I saw a gal that was playing frisby looking in the water like she lost something. I offered to help but was told to mind my own business, so I waited till they left and hunted the area and found nothing. You only need to miss it by inches to not hear it.

You know it gets depressing to go hunt for several hours and come home with little to show for it but when you read about other -really good - hunters that have the same problem.... it makes me feel like I'm not the only one. I love to read about these great finds.... one ring after another, gold chains with crosses etc etc then I go out and find zilch! So when someone else posts that they had a day where the weather and the water were the only good finds...... I FEEL GREAT!

Hey, I got 3 BL tops & .82, a Pepsi can, 3 fish hooks & 8 pull tabs. All in a days work!!
