commemorative badge? SOLVED...GAR medal

found this today at an old park in Jackson, it was out in the middle of a field kinda like a swale. it just under 2" in diameter. Cant read whats on the back yet, any ideas ?

I would like to know more information on this...What year What division ...anything....I love the fact that Jesus is standing between the two soldiers.....I am wondering if this is GAR ,why the modern soldier shaking hands with the civil war soldier? I would also like to see a closer pic of what the back says....
