I believe I just found my first commemorative silver.....

1984 Marie Curie 50 year anniversary France coin.

Sorry pics are from iPad. Coin isn't mint but very glad to find it. Also 64' and two 40s in box. image.jpgimage.jpg

Thanks! What a great hobby. You just never know what's in those rolls. When I cracked that roll the coin stood out like a sore thumb. Just a big slick solid rim so I knew I found something interesting and to find out its a foreign commemorative and SILVER was very sweet. Not bad mintage either. 3.9 mil

very cool. The unit of radioactivity is named after her (the Curie), she was a pioneer in isotope science and died from exposure
