I'm waiting for my nieces husband to send me a short video of my brothers home built 4 pounder cannon firing.Quite impressive the amount of damage a hydraulic cement cannon ball can do with 4 ounces of powder.There was no problem at all for the ball to penetrate a 2 1/2 inch solid core door plus a trucks engine hood plus hitting a 1/4 inch of diamond plate and denting the hell out of it,the cannon ball was dust.Hanging the diamond plate in front of the door resulted in the plate getting blown through the door.Unfortunately I failed to find a camera to buy to take up there with me.(next time I go I will get some pictures of the field piece and the damage to the door and the hood.
