Colt pistol bullet?

I believe this is a colt pistol bullet, maybe .36 caliber? Looks to small to be .44 cal, just want to get some other opinions on it. The base is flat also. Thanks, chris

There is a few different 36 cal pistol bullets that it could be.But,my guess is that it is of
the CW Era.A very nice find,congrats.
M&M 495 Colt for navy revolver
M&M 496 Whitney revolver
M&M 498 Prescott revolver
That is just a couple that is listed in McKee & Mason bullet book
