Picked this up today. It is based on a paiting by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer

The printer is Seitz, Wandsbeck. Looks like they did prints during second half of 1800s. I found a few copies of this by a US printer, but cannot find this one.

Here is a b&w of US print that sold on ebay.

Print is from Fraser & Son in Dundee, Scotland.

Curious what you guys think/value?

I have no idea of value, but I do notice the image is reverse on yours versus the original.

Yes, I noticed that. There are also a few differences. The original has the girl in a pink dress. In the one I have, the girl has a blue top and some type of sash.

Gerettet is German for "rescued".
