Need help with this. It was found in an area with a lot of Revolutionary War activity. It was extremely rusted over when found earlier today.

Yeah... Not too bad. It was extremely encrusted

It looks like maybe a fence finial or pole topper that had a bar running through it...

When you say rev. war activity, do you mean it was near a house or in an open field... ??

It was at a site that was an encampment during the Revolution. It was not located near a home. It was in a small wooded area.
