Found this piece with an iron post still attached about 2 months ago. The oval shaped disc is made of silver and the back is iron. The iron post was very fragile and broke off as seen in the pictures.

About 50 yards away at the same old site, I found this piece yesterday.

I believe it to be a matching set. But not sure what it is? My guess is earrings? Anyone know much about old jewelry? Or can tell me anything about these small silver pieces? (old colonial silver cuff links shown in the last picture found at the same site for reference)

I'm no help here, I do not know, but I'd like to say "Good Detecting", in that they are small, and would be difficult to find at the very least.
