I hit a cellar hole on my way home from detecting yesterday just before dark. I have hunted this quite a lot and pulled large coppers and buttons and buckles from there. I hit this very corroded buckle yesterday. It has the coolest patina I have ever seen. It almost glows in the dark. It is a cool mint green although my picture does not really show all that well. The soil is always wet there and the buckles come up in pretty rough shape. I'm happy with this one just for the patina. Thought you'd like to see it.
