It's Queen Victoria so you're looking at a time frame of late 1830s to the turn of the century. Hard to tell if it was holed or made that way.

It's Queen Victoria so you're looking at a time frame of late 1830s to the turn of the century. Hard to tell if it was holed or made that way.

Based on the way that the line sound the rim cleanly stops before and after the hole and the second line goes around the hole, I would think that it was made that way.

Any idea what this is? Part of a bracelet or necklace? I think it was holed after cleaning it up and looking at it but I may be wrong.

I suspect it's from a Jubilee medal. Either 1887 or 1897. I didn't see one exactly like yours but there are dozens of types.
