Colonial Moon and Colonial Shoebuckle HELP!!!

I found these relics on a hill where i find colonial buttons, I think the silver plated thing is part of a shoebuckle and i have no idead what the moon thing is

I would guess it dates into the 1800s but that's only a guess.
