Colonial Gunsmithing

Might still have that squirreled away on vhs tape....
Quite a craft ,and craftsmen.

It amazes me looking at it from a "today" standpoint. The time and dedication it took to build the gun. Thanks for posting.

Not like today is it with the computerized milling machines, press a button and spit the parts out.

Very cool, you had to be a carpenter, welder, fabricator, artist...enjoyed the video, thx for sharing...Ddf.

It was really an art back then, now they can produce such huge numbers of firearms each day in a factory, crazy to see how much technology has advanced. Unfortunately many times quality seems always seems to go down as technology increases, and things can be made easier but become less personal and unique. A pat on the back for the guys out there that who put careful thought and time into the things they make today. Cool video!
