Colonial French Marines Officers Button and Ramrod

Went metal detecting today and found a Colonial French Marines Officers Button from the 1700's. This was found in close proximity to where I found a Charleyville musket ramrod a week earlier. The French Dragoons were camped in that area during the revolutionary war. In the photo the button is inset.
