Not as exciting as the complete set found by Silver Tree Chaser, but as he has said, colonial cufflinks are few and far between.

Posting this for scotk9, who found it over the weekend at our banner field. He recently upgraded his Ace 250 with a DD coil and finally got himself a Garrett Pro Pointer, and apparently it paid off :)

Scott says there is gilding on it but it wouldn't show up with his iPad camera.

Nothing wrong with that find! Good save in my book!

heh man anything that old and that nice of condition is a KEEPER. :laughing7: At least you know you are in an OLD area that can have really old stuff.

Cufflinks are tough to find, I'm still hoping to find my first. Nice work Scotk9!

Stay at it!

I went from a brass cufflink to a silver cufflink to a gold cufflink in four months time. In regards to your posted cufflink, the metallic content is a secondary concern - The find seems quite old. That's what really matters - old finds from an old site and more old finds to follow.

Good Hunting
