Hey everyone,
This is my first post here! I've got a small but nice collection I'm looking to get a value on and find the best place to sell it. It consists of embossed Coca Cola bottles, Sprite, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr.Pepper, 7up, Cheerwine and Cheerwine Blanks.
I know without a picture it's nearly impossible to give an estimate of value, but does anyone know some base prices to work off of while I get a picture together? Most of the bottles were manufactured in North Carolina.

Hello Sam,

Welcome to the TNet. It's impossible to tell you anything about values without good photos. All of those brands have been around for many years, save Sprite, which was introduced in 1961. Please do take them in natural light with shots of the entire bottle and any base embossing, please.

Surf said it all, you could have a bunch of $1 bottles or $300 bottles, no way to tell without pics. Make sure to list any towns printed or embossed on them, where a bottles from can be a difference of alot of money...

Question of procedure..! Should I take a photo of the bottles individually? I've got about 50 at least, that might take a while!

Hey Sam,

Then do them 2 or 3 at a time. All of the companies that you mentioned produced many different bottles over the years. Condition, details, and dates, towns of origin are all factors that make up the value equation...

Surf is right about the details like towns and all other writing or embossing...

Coke on the left just sold for $865, the one on the right $4.99....

Yes, they're right. Condition is very important, as well as rarity. Checking past sales for items like yours can be very helpful. Welcome.

A lot of these bottles are just dirty, but some have case scratches. The Quality Soda I think is worth something, maybe the same with the Sprite because they're from National Parks... Any help of value would be appreciated!

Hey Sam,

You're right about the Quality. If it's in as good shape as it looks, it should be a $15ish bottle, but I'm going from yesterday's news. From your description, I believe it's a 1952 Laurens Glass bottle. The bottle "market" is in the dumper these days. They often do not realize their full potential: Quality Beverages Coca Cola Ashville | eBay Here's one to watch: Quality Brand Soda Water Property of Coca Cola Bottling Co Bottle Asheville | eBay This guy is dreaming: 1920's Coca Cola Quality Soda Water Str SD Green Emb Soda Bottle Asheville | eBay

The PatD cokes should have date codes about 2 inches up from the base. What are those? I have seen these go in the $5 range. I don't follow the market as closely as some folks do, I hope someone who is more current can better advise you.
