Collection Dump, Woo Hoo

Well, I had a pretty good day. Not huge, but good. Was planning to head up north to a small town about 20 miles away but had to dump first. After dumping I hit a few local banks. Three had no halves, then stopped at one of my favorite banks where I had scored some old Canadian nicks last week. I pick up $500 in dimes there every week but my boxes were skunk this week. They had more though so I got $500 more to check later. Asked for big dollars and halves. Next teller over says "oh, I was hoping you would stop in". That's what I like to hear. She has three Ike's, puts them on the counter and I can barely contain myself. Two are very shiny and I can see nice silver edges. She also has two rolls of halves. My teller has one roll of halves in the vault. She comes back and says the roll seams short, do I mind if she counts it. Ya sure, go ahead and count it, I tell her. She dumps it out and it's $1 short. Don't see any Ag. Then I ask about Canadian. They have 17 cents, all older coins which I take, and the rest newer dollars, which I pass on. Ended up with about 5 or 6 young queen cents, one George the 5 and the rest George the 6. Got out to the car and checked the rolls. Two rolls of proof coins, mostly clad but also
1993 s 90%
1970 s 40%
Last roll had a dirty 1967 40%
Then off I go to hit a few more banks in the next town over. I decided to postpone driving up north. Hit three more banks. First two had some clad. Last one I ask for halves and she's got one. It's clad. Might the other tellers have any I ask. She seams annoyed but goes to check and comes back with 3. Two clad and one 1964.
I'm pretty happy with my haul so far and still have dimes to check. Funny thing about the 1993 s was that something seamed strange about it. It seamed bigger then the other halves. I take it and drop it on my table and it goes thud. Not Ag ping but thud. Oh no, is it a fake halve? Upon closer examination I realize that it is in a protective coin holder. Came right out of the roll like that and I never noticed. It's in perfect condition and for now I'll just leave it as is. HH

Oh ya, I forgot the 1976 s I got also. I didn't have them in front of me as I was posting. Got thru first box of dimes. One 1953 Rosie.

Yes they are sagittarius.
1993 s 90%
1976 s 40%
I think I got a clad 1976 s also. Haven't checked out the clad proofs too much yet. Also all three of the Ike's are silver. Two are proof and the other I guess would be from a mint set? All are s mint mark.

Ok, newb question so I apologize. How do you tell the difference between a 90% proof and a 40% proof?? I thought all proofs were 40%.

You would know when you see it. Outside that, weight, and years/mint marks.

All silver proofs are 90%, other than the 1976-S silver proof, and the proofs made during the dates 40% for circulation were made ('65-'70).
