Hi everybody, I'm new here. I'm just curious to see what treasure stories and legends are out here in the Ozarks. It seems to me like it's a very rich place historically and I've done alot of backpacking and bushwhacking in the Ozark St. Francis ntnl forest regions and seen alot of interesting things while on those adventures. If you have a story please post it here, I'm not the only one on here with a thirst for knowledge. I'm particularly interested in civil war treasures.

Where you from? I'm in Dumas, the far S.E. corner of the state.

Hello, and welcome. I have a large collection of material on Arkansas plus Civil War references from the OR's of the Civil War, the Supplement to the OR's as well as the OR's for the Navies. If you can narrow down a specific location I can get that info for you. just let me know.
