I'm relatively new to this site, it is great with hours of reading. I joined the site for Spanish gold stories etc but recently got roped into a metal detecting excursion on my land, first time for me. First rattle out of the box I found a 1920 mercury dime, so im hooked now. Then I found this
After some research and help from a forum member (I posted in another thread and then was told about this thread) I figured out it was a collar disc, most likely WWI . Then I saw post under this with a link to other discs, but I still haven't found another like mine. Long story short I'm pretty exited about it and wanted to post it anyway, but I'd love to know more if anyone is willing to share. Thanks in advance from a newbie.
