For all you CT and MA MD's, the northern part of Colebrook reservoir is nearly dry lots of area to cover. I hunted Saturday, tons of iron - square nails and the like. Really worked my rear end off (which isn't hard at my age). Finally scored my only coin of the day, a mostly toasted 1881 IH. Saw 3 other detectors there, stopped and spoke with a very nice lady detector. Hit the boat ramp on my way out, lots of holes left there by earler detectors but I didn't find anything except propeller shards. If you get the chance, get out there and hunt it. This is a once in a lifetime (hopefully) opportunity. I say hopefully because if this drought continues, we all may be in serious trouble! The river at somespots was nothing more than a trickle although the muck was impassible in many spots. Be careful if you go near the wet areas.
