LOL Jeff, that sucks too!! Last night I had to drive from St College to home. Rt 192 was ok until I got to the state park area. White out is an understatement. Visibility was maybe 10 feet. I had to rely on the cut strips on the yellow centerline to stay on the road!! That was definitely my best find for the day. I now love those yellowline rumblestrips.

I'm just getting started with research, but I also like to get outside even if its just for a couple of minutes(sleding with the kids, snowball fights, snow forts).

with the help of Jeff in PA directing me to a rootsweb site (thanks again Jeff) I have possibly located a spot between Warren and Waterford where an encampment took place when the french owned PA (They had a fort in Waterford [Fort LeBoeuf]) and would send out patrols into the fronteer for days at a time. I will keep you posted as I find more info, I hope that I'm on to something, we shall see ;D

Great to hear Toby.

Alot of great leads there by reading BETWEEN the lines.

Toby, don't give us too much info, someone may jump your "claim" Good luck with it!!

Good stuff kenb!! I liked the speakeasy news!!

When it gets too cold to go outside, I detect inside of my wifes purse, and underneatch the chair & couch cushions. :)

I moved to FL from Mass-no more ice and snow...and the money I save on taxes I can buy a bunch of detectors
