Hi all. This is my first post so....

Its 12 outside but I was determined to go hunting today so I did. Of course it was hard digging.

First I hit an old farm (mid 1800s) and searched around the house most of the junk and some whatsits and a small amount of clad were to be had. I got a very light signal but decided to dig it anyway and pulled out the bottle. Its a beer or soda bottle from
Willibald Kuebler Brewing Co and was produced sometime between 1878-1898. Lucky for me the top was intact.
Second I hit a local park and got most of the clad shown. Nothing exciting but hey it was fun.

I am Very new to this, I am using a Fisher 1280x and really don't know if it set up correctly for gold and such. I have the disc. set at 5 to weed out all those pesky nails. Maybe I just have not hit those got finds yet.

Hey TnT2000..welcome to the forum,I'm sure you're gonna meet a great bunch of people here.Great place. Some pretty nice find's,but I personally think the bottle out wiegh's the clad hand's down.Congrat's and HH!!

Welcome to the forum TnT. Congrats on all your finds. Practice, practice, and more practice. Bury some coins and other medals in a area and run your detector over each one. See how your machine acts. This helped me, I know there a lot more great info and posters out there. Good luck.

That bottle is a great find, TNT. Post your questions about your detector in the Metal detecting section and I'm sure you'll get lots of pointers.

Welcome to TNet.

nice finds, especially the bottle. I also use the fisher 1280x depending where im hunting depends on what my settigns are. i put a nickel, gold ring, nail, and a quarter on the ground and then went from there with adjusting my settings.
Good Luck hunting.
