The credit unions here let you keep all the money that you put into the machines and the coin stars in the store take a percentage.
Just for curiosity I will peek in the tray and maybe one out of ten visits there might be one or two coins
Only found silver I think one time so you are doing good

That reminds me to check the banks reject trays where coins are poured in... I'm not sure if the odds are good but I'll have to start checking those... :)

Hit another coinstar today and recovered a small handful of coins....one was a 1967 Washington quarter...no mint mark....no silver but apparently it's still worth about 80 cents in average condition....this one was kind of toasted though...
$.16 for me today. Nice handful you got there.

I stopped by an HEB in town, and looked at the coinstar before leaving. Hit a nice jackpot. A 40% half and 5 silver Washington quarters were sitting in there, in addition to some modern change. First time I have ever found multiple silver quarters in a coinstar at one time. LOL, and will probably be the last.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That's 16 cents off your shopping bill. :)
I hope everyone carries their pencil with a small blob of chewing gum and looking in the holes of the dump tray. I had a small jar of stud earrings & jewelry pieces I plucked. Gotta admit most of the studs were CZs. but TREASURE IS TREASURE.

Almost forgot! The sour green apple bubble gum in the machines usually by the Coin Star works great when well chewed. WARNING! it'll pull fillings if you're not careful.

Great recovery. Congratulations! Thanks for posting.
