when pennys went from all copper to other alloys ?
when other coins, quarters,nickles,etc were silver. what years ?

real easy answer to your question -- 1982 was the end of copper cents --(not pennies as most folks call them ---penny is a "british" money term ) --- 1964 was the last year of the 90% silver coins for halfs,quarters and dimes --- 65 TO 70 only the halfs were 40 % silver. -- Ivan
