. I got up early and went out all day today. I'm happy I finally found some silver today its been weeks and all I've been finding are nickels and Indians. I found the Indian 1891 , umbrella piece , some off the bullets , watch movement , reed and the a few other things at the first site. Around noon I went to try another spot near a revolution encampment. When I got there I found that the woods I been to a few times were clearcut. I managed to find the lead ball in the mess of trees. I then decided to check out another spot I've been going to a lot recently. So far I have only been finding nickels and Indians there. I pulled my first silver out of that spot a 1900 barber dime. I got a signal dug a plug and found a Jefferson 76 nickel on the edge of the hole. I had nickels disced out so I was surprised to find it. I rechecked the hole and sure enough there was something else down there. I was expecting a clad and out pops my first silver in weeks. A few feet away I found the 1906 V nickel. The skull ring was found about twenty feet away. I had to flip a large flat rock to find the ring. I wonder how it got underneath a big rock. Any ideas on the round piece with the floral design? Also does anyone know what the things are with the holes in the last picture or what that reed came out of?
