Went out and found small change and on the way home i saw a sign free food at a local church. I stopped and walked up and they asked if i was there to volunteer .:dontknow: Ok what do you need me to do ? We need to break down all these pallets of food on tables. Well i worked for about 2 hours and really got tired and sat down. Looking at the line of people waiting for food was getting real long. One of the ladies walked up asking if i was ok and i told her i was just tired. She told me you have done enough take home some food for your help.:hello2: The wife got home and asked what is that name tag on your shirt? Oh i replied look in the fridge. Produce, fruit, butter and bread full to the top. Told the wife what i did and she smiled and kissed me, good deed. Think i will help them next month.

A nice day out and helping the needy...great day in my eyes!

We are here to help one another and you are doing your part! Very noble of you to give your time. (When you said you walked up to the church, I thought you were going to ask them if you could MD the grounds. LOL)

That story says a lot about you!!!Thanks for sharing it!!!!!!

Excellent story! Maybe pay them a visit on Sunday mornings? I take artifacts that I have recently dug to Sunday school with me and pass them around.

Nice work aa you the man !!!

Thats a treasure right there. Love hunts that turn out completely different.

As the spouse of a retired minister, I want to say "thank you" for your willingness to give aid to those less fortunate. I know, first hand, how difficult it is to find folks who will volunteer their time. Your efforts will not go unnoticed by the community. My hope is that the Big Guy Upstairs leads you to a reward or two whilst searching with your coil.........
