Does anyone know when the Coinmaster 3000/d series 3 detector came out? I have one and was wondering just how old it is and what it would be worth in working condition...

Until someone pipes in - I a reference to that puppy coming out in the early 80's - no exact date. Also, I did find a copy of its manual: Coinmaster 2000/3000 Owner's Manual
