Found in my parent's attic. Think it came from my grandfather who was in ww2. Never met him. Any ideas?
Bird on one side and lion on the other side. Goldish color

It doesn't appear to be an ancient coin (like Greek) so, without either a legend or number (denomination), I'd guess it's a token, not a coin.

Do a search on "Spiel Marke". Late 19th - early 20th C.
