Trying to identify this for someone. 9/16 in size. Brass. Found at a civil war site.

I see some English lettering on it. Probably foreign, and looks to be very old.

Tough to say. I definitely see some English letters, but not enough to concretely ID the coin/token. I think I see a date, I attached a picture and outlined it. Almost looks like 1841 or 1847......beneath a crown (perhaps)?

Grasshopper, I think you got it! This one is 14.22mm compared to the one you found at 18 mm. Could just be excessive wear and rot. Thank you!
