Coin ?

Hi,

To clarify, the D is for Denver on any coin minted in the U.S. beginning in 1906.
The D is for Dahlonega, in the southern state of Georgia, on gold coins minted from 1838-1861. Operations ended there when the U.S. Civil War began in 1861.

Hope that helps.
