This is a very thin copper disk. Same size as a LC. Lettering makes no sense. Hoping for some new leads.

The lettering around the left side of the bust portrait looks as if it might be FRIEDRICH or FRIDERICVS. If so, this would suggest a coin from one of the many 18th century German states. There are also some Danish and Swedish coins of the period with FRIDERICVS.

No idea but must have been valuable to the owner to put a hole in it for wearing around neck (?). Bryan in Wilson, NC

It reminds me of a copper core of a counterfiet silver plated coin from the 18th-19th century. Is there traces of silver?

No sign of silver, but the copper core idea sounds good. I will expand my search to the counterfeit silver area.

Not sure, but could be a variation of Frederick II of Prussia (Frederick the Great). Friedrich II was king 1740-1786.

It may read: FRIDERICUS BORUSSORUM REX (which means Friedrich king of Prussia).
