I wonder if it hates Gold Coins ? :laughing7: Jim HH and best to all this Holiday P.S its 28* out side and a wind chill of 15* brrrrrr .

Being a cashier at a grocery store I get to see alot of use out of our coinstar. I have a few Euros, tokens, and other foreign change from it. Yesturday my manager went through $1500 in change from our vending machines and horsey ride. Out of that I got a 1963 and 1956 rosie and a 1943d steel wheatie. I have got a few other silver dimes out of it before too.

My best story by far.....
A couple, who couldn't speak English, put their coins in and proceeded through the steps and got the voucher. They started yelling at me for something so I told them to talk to my manager. They were mad it didn't take all the coins so my manager bought them for the store. I heard silver hit the counter and yelled I was buying all of it when I went on break.

3x Morgans (1 CC)
1x Peace dollar
15x JFK half 1964
a few 1965-71

before anyone asks I had local authorities check on stolen coins and came back with nothing.

I check them every time i see one and found a 90% rosie sitting on top. Another time I found 95 cents in coinage that was caked together in coke syrup so i took em hom eand boiled them loose then added them to my change.
